Lease Delivery Program Manager

About the role

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is looking for a Lease Delivery Program Manager to lead the delivery of leased datacenter capacity in Dubai. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end programme management from lease execution through Ready for Service and turnover to Operations. The manager will coordinate multiple workstreams and act as the senior interface with lease providers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead leased datacenter delivery programmes across multiple sites and tranches.
• Integrate construction, engineering, technical infrastructure, commissioning, safety, commercial, project controls and operational readiness into a coordinated programme plan.
• Own programme‑level governance, reporting, escalation, risk and dependency management.
• Serve as Microsoft’s senior delivery interface with lease providers, contractors, consultants and internal teams (Engineering, Commissioning, Safety, Operations, Commercial, Legal, Procurement, Security, Network).
• Ensure on‑time delivery of Microsoft milestones such as Ready for Service, Ready for Network Install, commissioning, fit‑out completion and turnover.
• Support commercial and contractual governance, including change control and issue resolution.
• Promote a strong safety culture and embed safety considerations in all decisions.
• Manage a team of external owner representatives and align regional capacity goals with business OKRs.
• Track and report metrics related to milestone delivery, cost and other OKRs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑disciplinary data centre construction or fit‑out programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage programme governance, risk, dependencies and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience working with lease providers, contractors and large internal technology organisations.
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen, including change control processes.
• Ability to drive safety‑first decision making.
