Legal Assistant – Property Management & Rental Disputes

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based property management firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support our residential and commercial portfolio. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and managing tenancy agreements and handling rental disputes through the Rental Disputes Center.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and amend residential and commercial tenancy contracts, renewals, addenda, settlement and termination documents.
• Identify contractual risks and advise management on landlord‑tenant rights and obligations.
• Handle rental issues such as unpaid rent, evictions, sub‑leasing, maintenance disputes and security‑deposit matters.
• Prepare, register and follow up cases before the Rental Disputes Center, including first‑instance claims, appeals and execution proceedings.
• Draft and coordinate legal notices for non‑payment, breaches, eviction and handover violations.
• Maintain case files with contracts, Ejari certificates, title deeds, rent ledgers and related correspondence.
• Liaise with external lawyers and support settlement negotiations between landlords and tenants.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in Dubai tenancy law, RERA and Ejari processes.
• Proven ability to manage legal documentation and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
