Legal Counsel – Dubai

About the role

Al Ramsy Advocates and Legal Consultancy is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join its Dubai office. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice across civil, commercial, corporate and contractual matters while supporting litigation and dispute resolution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on civil, commercial, corporate and contractual issues, ensuring compliance with UAE law.
• Handle and support civil and commercial litigation, including preparation of pleadings, statements of claim and defence.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal notices and memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of developments in UAE legislation and regulations.
• Represent clients in negotiations, settlements, mediations and other dispute‑resolution processes.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, courts and other stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); an LLM is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience within the United Arab Emirates.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Law, litigation, commercial law and contract law.
• Proven track record in handling civil and commercial disputes and litigation matters.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly advantageous.
