Legal Counsel (Junior to Mid-level)

About the role

EXANTE is seeking a junior to mid‑level Corporate Legal Counsel to join its Dubai legal team. The role offers the chance to work on a fast‑growing fintech business, supporting a variety of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as service agreements, SaaS/technology agreements, NDAs and vendor arrangements.
• Support corporate governance, entity management and cross‑border structuring for the group.
• Assist with regulatory and licensing matters, liaising with UAE regulators as required.
• Provide advice on data‑protection, AML/KYC and consumer‑protection obligations relevant to fintech products.
• Develop internal policies, templates and compliance processes.
• Deliver practical, business‑focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2–5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably from a common‑law jurisdiction (e.g., England & Wales).
• Strong corporate and commercial law background, ideally with exposure to fintech, financial services, payments or technology.
• Familiarity with UAE legal and regulatory environment is a plus.
• Commercially minded with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills
