Legal Counsel – Qatar

About the role

This role provides broad legal support across commercial, corporate and operational matters, working closely with senior stakeholders and handling a wide range of international agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Support sponsorship, partnership and supplier agreement negotiations.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business stakeholders.
• Advise on intellectual property, branding and content‑related matters.
• Assist with dispute management and pre‑litigation issues.
• Liaise with and manage external legal counsel when required.
• Support the development of legal templates, policies and processes.
• Contribute to wider legal, governance and commercial initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer from a Common Law jurisdiction.
• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong training from a reputable international or leading regional law firm.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in commercial, corporate or TMT matters.
• Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Pragmatic, business‑focused communication skills.
