Legal Director – Luxury Hotel Operator (EMEA)

About the role

The client is a world‑leading luxury hotel operator seeking a Legal Director to be based in Dubai’s DIFC. Reporting to an overseas SVP, you will oversee legal operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, providing strategic counsel to a fast‑growing hospitality business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crisis management and response for the hotel portfolio.
• Develop, implement and maintain global regulatory and compliance policies.
• Advise senior business leaders on legal matters across all functions.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and advisors.
• Support investigations, sanctions compliance and regulatory filings in multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Common‑law qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in regulatory, sanctions, investigations and compliance work.
• Experience gained at a recognised international law firm or a leading multinational corporation.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high‑visibility, cross‑border environment.
