Legal Privacy and Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

Ethos is partnering with a leading AI lab to train its newest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide‑deck tasks. The role involves applying your privacy and regulatory expertise to create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated outputs for core compliance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Records of Processing Activities.
• Conduct GDPR and CCPA gap assessments and draft privacy notices.
• Prepare and negotiate vendor data‑processing agreements.
• Design breach‑notification protocols and related documentation.
• Produce high‑quality documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks that meet regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data privacy, data protection, or regulatory compliance.
• Direct ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA assessments.
• Proven ability to draft privacy notices and vendor agreements that satisfy regulators and customers.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and related privacy frameworks.
• Expertise in creating compliant documentation, spreadsheets, and slide presentations.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
