Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its Base Maintenance team in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality maintenance, inspections and repairs on Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in line with manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Maintain assigned zones/aircraft according to the latest Technical Publications, Technical Notices and Engineering Procedures.
• Handle off‑aircraft activities such as spares handling, hold items and paperwork compliance.
• Verify tooling and equipment serviceability and use specialised tools where required.
• Execute troubleshooting, component changes and fault rectification efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Ensure all work follows safety rules, housekeeping standards and company procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on service delays, incidents and accidents.
• Communicate effectively with managers, senior engineers and other colleagues.

Required profile

• Valid aircraft engineering licence and approvals for the relevant aircraft types.
• Experience with Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777 maintenance programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) and other technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety culture and quality improvement.
