Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its Base Maintenance team in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality inspections, repairs and retrofits on Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform A, C and other scheduled checks, engine changes and landing‑gear replacements.
• Execute unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification and pre‑service checks.
• Handle cabin retrofits, aircraft deliveries and detailed inspection programmes.
• Manage spares, hold items and related paperwork in line with company procedures.
• Use specialised tooling and ensure equipment serviceability before each task.
• Document all work, report deficiencies and contribute to continuous safety improvements.

Required profile

• Valid aircraft engineering licence applicable to the aircraft types listed.
• Experience with Airbus A380, A350 or Boeing 777 maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturer technical publications (AMM, IPC, service bulletins).
• Ability to work safely in a high‑tempo hangar environment.
• Effective communication with senior engineers and supervisors.
