About the role
The Lifeguard will ensure the safety of guests using the hotel’s swimming facilities in Dubai. You will create a welcoming, secure environment while responding quickly to any emergencies that arise.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the pool area and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when swimmers are in distress.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations, and educate guests on safe practices.
- Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
- Support guests with disabilities and ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
- Comfortable working on wet, slippery surfaces and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
