Lifting Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lifting Engineer to join Al Muhandis Marine Works in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support marine and heavy‑construction projects by ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and approve lifting plans, studies and load calculations for marine and offshore projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to select appropriate cranes, rigging gear and lifting accessories.
• Ensure compliance with applicable lifting standards, regulations and HSE requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and supervise lifting operations on site.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during complex lifts.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience with a strong focus on lifting operations.
• Proven experience in marine, offshore or heavy‑construction environments is an advantage.
• Relevant lifting certifications are preferred.
