Lobby Coffeeman – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Lobby Coffeeman provides premium coffee, tea and Arabic coffee service to guests in the lobby and lounge of Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, a five‑star beachfront hotel in Abu Dhabi. The role combines beverage preparation with high‑level guest interaction, ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and a memorable luxury experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, Arabic coffee and other hot beverages to lobby and lounge guests.
• Greet guests warmly, maintain a professional and friendly presence, and attend to VIP visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee stations, serving areas and equipment.
• Monitor and replenish beverage supplies, cups, condiments and refreshments.
• Conduct regular checks on coffee machines and service equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge and Guest Relations to fulfill guest requests.
• Assist guests with basic information about hotel facilities and handle preferences or complaints promptly.
• Support hotel events, VIP arrivals and special functions held in the lobby area.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant, café or similar hospitality environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional grooming and appearance in line with five‑star standards.
• Basic English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
• Ability to serve traditional Arabic coffee.
