Logistics Executive – Import/Export Coordination

About the role

The Logistics Executive will coordinate import and export shipments, prepare all required shipping and customs documentation, and liaise with freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods while complying with UAE customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Delivery Note and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinate sea, air, land and courier shipments with freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, airlines and courier companies.
• Liaise with Customs, Sales, Loading & Packing, Warehouse, Production and other internal teams to ensure smooth processing.
• Arrange shipment bookings, monitor vessel, flight and delivery schedules and track shipments from dispatch to final delivery.
• Follow up on customs clearance, resolve documentation issues and support preparation of import/export certificates.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations, manage loading, packing, collection and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight documents and logistics transactions.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, delivery discrepancies and other logistics‑related issues while ensuring compliance with company procedures and customs requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics coordination, shipping, import/export or freight forwarding.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
