Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer supports the Logistics Manager in ensuring that products reach stores across the UAE, KSA, and Qatar on time and in full. The role involves coordinating shipments from origin to store, handling returns, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation in line with local customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with planning, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth stock movement and proper documentation.
• Manage supply‑chain costs and service levels, taking corrective actions when budgets are exceeded.
• Optimize e‑commerce and multi‑channel supply chains to meet lead‑time and cost targets.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date shipment tracker and oversee shipment execution.
• Ensure ERP system supports inventory and logistics functions, including automated replenishment.
• Prepare logistics and inventory reports, close open purchase orders, and provide weekly status updates.
• Verify freight and warehouse invoices and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for logistics processes and ensure stakeholder compliance.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings, provide updates, and identify efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in negotiation and change management.
• Understanding of inventory management in a multi‑country GCC environment.
• Strong English communication skills (Arabic a plus).
