Low Voltage Electrical Engineer – EPLAN/CAD

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Engineer to join its Dubai hub, supporting automation projects across the Middle East. You will design and develop low‑voltage electrical systems, create detailed schematics, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to turn product concepts into manufacturable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design low‑voltage electrical systems and components for automation projects.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and ensure compliance with IEC standards and safety regulations.
• Translate product design requirements into Design‑for‑Manufacturing (DFM) solutions.
• Select appropriate electrical components and materials.
• Troubleshoot design issues during development and testing phases.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support design reviews.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and liaise with product line management and solutions architects.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing low‑voltage systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
