Lunar Lander Test Bench Development Senior Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of a dedicated lunar‑lander test bench in the United Arab Emirates. The role will cover the full lifecycle from concept definition through construction, commissioning and operational hand‑over, supporting hot‑fire propulsion and hopper flight demonstrations for our next‑generation space vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Define system‑level requirements and develop the overall architecture for a remote lunar‑lander test site.
• Design and implement propellant and pressurisation systems for liquid oxygen, liquid methane, helium and nitrogen, including P&IDs and high‑pressure fluid loops.
• Coordinate civil‑engineering activities, site layout, foundations and support building interfaces.
• Develop automation and control architectures to enable autonomous operation of the test facility.
• Perform safety analyses (FMEA, HAZOP, risk assessments) and implement mitigation measures.
• Lead commissioning, testing and hand‑over activities, including periodic travel to the UAE.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience in propulsion test infrastructure or cryogenic fluid systems.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to operational status in remote environments.
• Willingness to travel to the United Arab Emirates for site development and commissioning phases.
