Maintenance Mechanical Engineer – Mechanical Systems

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join its Dubai hub, supporting advanced automated manufacturing equipment. You will develop and execute maintenance strategies that keep critical mechanical systems running reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans for cam‑controlled machines and injection molding equipment.
• Analyse downtime, MTBF and MTTR data to drive equipment reliability improvements.
• Lead structured root‑cause analyses (RCA, A3, 5 Why) for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Define inspection routines, lubrication strategies, wear‑part replacement and overhaul intervals.
• Collaborate with production, toolmaking and engineering teams to enhance machine stability and cycle‑time consistency.
• Support equipment commissioning, industrialisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience with mechanical systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to use data‑driven methods for maintenance optimisation.
• Strong analytical skills for failure‑mode identification and reliability engineering.
