Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to guest repair requests and ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel facilities. This role involves routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs across a wide range of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets, and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping‑related inventory, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before work.
• Maintain landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and handle tools up to 50 lb.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong communication with guests and team members.
