Manager AI And Data Security Governance

About the role

Network International is seeking a Manager to lead AI and Data Security Governance across its Middle East and Africa operations. The role establishes a second‑line‑of‑defence framework that controls how artificial intelligence is adopted and how data is protected, independent of the engineering teams that build the platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously update the AI Platform & Implementation Standard and related security policies.
• Run the AI security risk‑assessment process for all AI and large language model (LLM) use cases, including agentic AI.
• Maintain an authoritative AI use‑case security register documenting AI deployments and risk profiles.
• Define group‑wide data security governance, including classification, protection standards and data‑loss‑prevention (DLP) policies.
• Assess AI and data risks independently of build teams and report security posture to governance committees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in establishing governance frameworks for emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, LLMs, and associated security considerations.
• Knowledge of data classification, protection standards, and DLP mechanisms.
• Ability to work autonomously, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
