Manager, FAAS – Governance, Internal Control & Board Support

About the role

Join EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Dubai as a Manager focused on governance, internal control, and board support. You will help government and private entities transition to the latest IFRS standards, implement internal control over financial reporting (ICFR), and strengthen corporate governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements across multiple sectors, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, client‑focused work.
• Collaborate with partners, directors, senior managers and clients to define FAAS strategies that address risk and meet regulatory expectations.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics while coordinating with other service lines for integrated delivery.
• Identify trends, developments, and performance drivers relevant to clients and communicate insights effectively.
• Drive business development activities and secure new FAAS assignments.

Required profile

• Proactive, accountable, and results‑driven professional with strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑client environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Strong financial reporting and corporate governance expertise.
