About the role

The Managing Director (Part‑time, Remote) will provide strategic leadership, oversee business operations, and guide the company's long‑term growth. The role involves setting organisational goals, reviewing project performance, approving budgets, and monitoring financial health while building relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Set organisational goals and review project performance.
• Approve budgets and monitor financial health.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and vendors.
• Support business development and acquisition of new projects.
• Collaborate with onsite management to ensure projects meet company standards, regulatory requirements and client expectations.
• Manage risk, develop policies and mentor senior team members.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leadership and business management experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong financial oversight skills, including budgeting, cost control and financial reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and vendor coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, project management fundamentals and basic regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• Ability to work part‑time in a remote capacity with consistent availability for key meetings and strategic reviews.
