Managing Director – Technology & Operations (Dubai)

About the role

We are establishing BroadPeak’s Dubai office and need a hands‑on Managing Director to build the team, modernise our software platforms and drive AI‑enabled growth across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Dubai office and recruit the local engineering and operations team.
• Lead end‑to‑end re‑platforming of franchise management systems onto an AI‑native architecture.
• Implement LLM integration and agent orchestration across the brands.
• Coordinate delivery with offshore teams in Pakistan and India.
• Work with the PRO on licensing, residency and visa processes.
• Report directly to the Founder & CEO and US ownership, steering the business as it scales.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including distributed/off‑shore groups.
• Proven ability to build organisations from the ground up with limited scaffolding.
• Hands‑on technical leader who can execute legacy‑to‑AI re‑platforming themselves.
• Experience in franchise, retail or multi‑tenant SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai with overlapping US East Coast hours.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
