Marine Automation Engineer

About the role

Boilerman is seeking a Marine Automation Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role involves hands‑on field service, system commissioning, technical diagnostics and maintenance of marine automation and control equipment on vessels worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot onboard marine automation and control systems.
• Provide specialist field engineering support for marine boilers, industrial burners, inert gas generators (IGG) and marine incinerators.
• Carry out system commissioning, routine inspections, diagnostic testing and emergency vessel visits.
• Prepare detailed service reports, keep system documentation up to date and coordinate with vessel superintendents and internal engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience managing marine control systems and automation equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of control and instrumentation setups used on vessels.
• Ability to perform field diagnostics, generate technical reports and solve engineering problems.
