Marine Site Engineer

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services, a leading engineering and construction company in the UAE with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a detail‑oriented Marine Site Engineer to join its Dubai team. We're looking for an analytical professional to oversee marine construction projects, ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities on marine construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks on marine structures, equipment installations, and construction methodologies.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including contractors, subcontractors, and design engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols across all marine construction activities.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges through analytical problem‑solving and collaborative communication with project stakeholders.
• Organize and manage site logistics, including material handling, equipment placement, and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• 4 – 5 years of similar experience in marine or offshore construction.
• Valid UAE driving license.
