Material Coordinator

About the role

The Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, sourcing, maintaining stock and supplying materials and tools according to project specifications. The role involves close liaison with internal and external functions to ensure timely delivery to various sites such as fabrication yards, remote islands, offshore platforms and other project locations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, source, and maintain inventory of materials and tools as per specifications.
• Develop tentative material mobilization plans based on forecasts from commissioning managers.
• Coordinate material movement to diverse destinations, ensuring compliance with client access, security, medical and training requirements.
• Communicate delivery plans with logistics providers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPE, PTW and HSE requirements are communicated before resource arrival.
• Interface with project teams to integrate activities and follow applicable method statements and procedures.
• Report material engagement upon assignment completion and ensure HSE compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in material coordination or similar logistics roles.
