About the role
GEMS Education is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher for its middle‑school programme in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality curriculum that engages students and supports their academic growth.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the required CBSE/IGCSE mathematics curriculum with up‑to‑date subject knowledge.
- Plan and deliver motivating lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Create and utilise appropriate teaching materials and a supportive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, resources, and assessments.
- Assess, record and report on student progress, using data to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Promote student well‑being and provide guidance on educational matters.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics and a B.Ed (distance or open university not accepted).
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in CBSE and/or IGCSE curricula.
- UAE teaching experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
