MCM Technician

About the role

The MCM Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing car inspection machinery across multiple sites and workshops, ensuring reliable operation through both reactive and preventive actions.

Key responsibilities

• On‑site breakdowns and repairs of car inspection machinery, including fault analysis, component replacement and system testing.
• Management of external contractors, assigning jobs, monitoring progress and certifying completion.
• Execution of preventive maintenance schedules on assigned sites, verifying service reports and performing on‑spot quality inspections.
• Workshop repairs such as modifications to submersible turbine pumps, piping and electrical circuitry, bench testing and preparation of gate passes.
• In‑house preventive maintenance activities including leak checks, flow‑rate verification, meter calibration and battery replacement.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Maintenance Manager and follow daily assignments from an Area Superintendent.
• Proficiency in reading engineering or manufacturer drawings and preparing work reports.
