Mechanical Draftsman – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our Dubai office. The role is full‑time, office‑based and offers a long‑term appointment within a leading fabrication and engineering business.

Key responsibilities

• Produce complete engineering drawings and shop‑fabrication detail drawings for fuel dispensing systems, storage tanks and related equipment.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards and client specifications.
• Manage the drawing production process from concept to final release.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of total career experience as a mechanical design draftsman.
• Background in oil & gas, mining or construction sectors.
• Familiarity with fuel dispensing systems and storage tank designs.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Highly proficient in SolidWorks (Version 2020 SP5 minimum) and SolidWorks PDM.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
