Mechanical Engineer – Sphere Tank

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with specialised experience in sphere tanks to support the execution and installation phases of our EPC projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site fabrication, assembly, erection and installation of spherical storage tanks.
• Ensure welding, fit‑up, non‑destructive testing and hydrostatic testing comply with project specifications and international codes such as ASME and API.
• Supervise subcontractors and on‑site teams to keep activities on schedule and within safety standards.
• Resolve technical queries, inspect fit‑ups and review drawings and method statements related to sphere‑tank works.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience as a Mechanical Engineer working specifically on sphere tanks or spherical storage vessels.
• Background in EPC, oil & gas or heavy‑industrial construction projects.
• Based in the UAE or available for local hiring.

Required skills

• Sphere‑tank fabrication and erection.
• Welding and fit‑up procedures.
• Non‑destructive testing (NDT) and hydrostatic testing.
• Knowledge of ASME and API standards.
• Site supervision and subcontractor management.
