Mechanical Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will support Emirates Electrical Engineering in preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting works on residential, commercial, fit‑out and industrial projects. The role involves reviewing tender documents, drawings and standards to produce detailed Bills of Quantities and cost breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting drawings, scope of works and relevant standards.
• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities for materials, labour, plant and equipment.
• Develop mechanical cost estimates for MEP projects, including ESCO‑related work.
• Coordinate with the Estimation Manager, supply‑chain team and other engineers to clarify scope and obtain supplier offers.
• Assist in bid submission preparation and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.

Required profile

• Experience reviewing technical drawings and tender documents for MEP projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise quantity take‑offs.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
