Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician ensures reliable, safe, and efficient operation of CNC machines, SPMs and related production equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role involves mechanical installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation, inspection, troubleshooting and corrective repairs on CNC machines, SPMs and associated equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on spindles, bearings, ball screws, linear guideways, gearboxes, couplings, tool changers, pallet changers, chucks, fixtures, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, lubrication and coolant systems.
• Support equipment reliability and availability while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; fluent English communication.
• Proven experience with CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment and preventive/corrective maintenance.

Required skills

• CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system repair and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, spindles, bearings, gearboxes and related mechanical components.
• Ability to perform mechanical installation, inspection and lubrication/coolant system management.
