Mechanical Rotating Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Rotating Engineer to provide senior mechanical and rotating equipment engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the GCC, with a strong focus on FEED and engineering deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and rotating equipment engineering support throughout FEED and other project phases.
• Review and deliver design documents, specifications, datasheets and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor document review and technical clarifications.
• Manage engineering changes, technical deviations and optimisation opportunities.
• Perform constructability reviews and support construction readiness.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, engineering documentation and project deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of senior mechanical/rotating engineering experience, preferably in the GCC.
• Experience on Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects with reputable EPC or PMC firms.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, tanks, piping and rotating equipment engineering.
• Proven experience in FEED, technical review and coordination of consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Relevant engineering degree; professional certifications are a plus.
