Merchandise Planning Assistant / Allocator

About the role

As a Merchandise Planning Assistant / Allocator you will support the merchandise planning team in forecasting demand, managing stock levels and allocating products across NAYOMI stores in the Middle East. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Dubai and plays a key part in ensuring the right merchandise reaches the right store at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales trends, historical data and store‑level inventory to forecast demand and decide product allocation.
• Allocate merchandise to existing stores and new openings based on capacity, sales performance and seasonal demand.
• Replenish stock during the selling season by managing distribution from warehouse to stores.
• Monitor inventory turnover, sell‑through rates, size performance and stock‑outs or overstock, adjusting allocations as needed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports, store‑level sales analyses and allocation performance metrics.
• Manage Inter‑Branch Transfers (IBTs) weekly to keep top‑performing stores stocked.
• Respond to daily store requests promptly and accurately.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Experience or knowledge of merchandise planning, retail allocation or inventory management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential).
• Experience with planning or ERP tools for data management and reporting.
