Microsoft 365 Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

The M365 Engineer will join the client’s IT department in Abu Dhabi, providing advanced support, troubleshooting and administration of the Microsoft 365 environment. The role demands deep expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, Intune and related compliance and automation tools, and requires the ability to design and implement high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Intune.
• Manage user and computer identities, roles and permissions in Azure AD and on‑premises AD.
• Configure and maintain security features such as MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Defender.
• Deploy and manage device enrollment, configuration profiles and compliance policies via Intune (Windows, iOS, Android, macOS).
• Implement and oversee compliance tools (DLP, Data Classification, IRM, Purview) to meet regulatory requirements.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripts and maintain the tenant’s secure score.
• Provide tier‑2/3 support for email, access and other Office 365 service issues, escalating as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance and automation within the Microsoft ecosystem.
