Mid-Level / Senior Accountant

About the role

Glotify is seeking a motivated Mid‑Level/Senior Accountant to join its Dubai office. The role involves overseeing junior staff, handling end‑to‑end bookkeeping, and ensuring VAT compliance for a portfolio of construction and restaurant clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise the accounting work of junior accountants.
• Perform bookkeeping and data‑entry tasks accurately.
• Manage accounting and VAT processes for key clients.
• Prepare reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
• Follow up with clients to meet compliance deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Background working with construction and restaurant sector clients.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple companies and support junior staff.
• Turkish language proficiency is a plus.
