About the role
Glotify is seeking a motivated Mid‑Level/Senior Accountant to join its Dubai office. The role involves overseeing junior staff, handling end‑to‑end bookkeeping, and ensuring VAT compliance for a portfolio of construction and restaurant clients.
Key responsibilities
- Review and supervise the accounting work of junior accountants.
- Perform bookkeeping and data‑entry tasks accurately.
- Manage accounting and VAT processes for key clients.
- Prepare reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
- Follow up with clients to meet compliance deadlines.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Background working with construction and restaurant sector clients.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple companies and support junior staff.
- Turkish language proficiency is a plus.
