Middle School Math Teacher

About the role

The Millennium School in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to deliver high‑quality mathematics instruction in line with GEMS Core Values. You will inspire students, adapt lessons to diverse learning needs, and contribute to a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging mathematics lessons for middle‑school students.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessments and teaching resources.
• Adapt teaching strategies for varied learner profiles, including ESL, gifted, and low‑ability students.
• Utilise media and technology to enhance classroom learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress while respecting confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings, committees, appraisal processes and continuous professional development.
• Support co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes and assist in organising school events.
• Promote a safe, disciplined, and culturally aware learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum 4‑5 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle‑school mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of current mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Commitment to GEMS policies, procedures and core values.

Required skills

• Excellent ICT skills for classroom integration.
