Minibar Attendant

About the role

The Minibar Attendant delivers discreet, accurate, and efficient minibar service to guest rooms at Fairmont Dubai, upholding the brand’s luxury standards and enhancing guest satisfaction. This position works closely with the Minibar In‑Charge and the Food & Beverage team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish guest room minibars according to daily schedules, checking expiry dates and product presentation.
• Record minibar consumption accurately and submit charges promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of minibar equipment, storage, and pantry areas.
• Follow FIFO procedures when handling stock and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and any safety concerns.
• Respect guest privacy and adhere to hotel security procedures when entering rooms.
• Comply with HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
• Support miscellaneous duties as directed by the manager to ensure total quality service.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of minibar experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and POS systems.
