About the role

The Department of Management Information Systems at City University Ajman is seeking a dynamic Assistant Professor to join its faculty. Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned MIS courses using innovative instructional methods and technology.
• Prepare and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments in line with college guidelines.
• Maintain accurate student records, grade submissions, and attendance logs.
• Hold regular office hours and provide academic advising to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, college committees, and professional development activities.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program goals and public relations materials.
• Coordinate substitute instruction during planned absences.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and harassment‑free learning environment.

Required profile

• PhD in Management Information Systems or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
