About the role

Mobile App Test Automation Engineer – Android & iOS (Dubai – onsite). Statera is seeking a professional to build and maintain automated UI tests for Android and iOS, focusing on visual consistency and reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android UI tests using Espresso and iOS UI tests using XCUITest.
• Build robust, scalable, and maintainable test frameworks and automated test suites.
• Implement and maintain Snapshot Testing to detect visual regressions.
• Validate UI consistency across devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions.
• Test dynamic content and complex user journeys; investigate rendering issues and test failures.
• Review requirements early, identify test scenarios, and apply shift‑left testing practices.
• Define and monitor release quality gates and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with both Espresso and XCUITest.
• Proven experience designing mobile UI automation frameworks and maintainable test suites.
• Hands‑on experience with Snapshot Testing and visual regression testing.
• Good understanding of test design patterns, testability principles, and automation best practices.
• Strong knowledge of the mobile application lifecycle and release processes.
• Ability to diagnose failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
