Munitions Inspector – Dubai, UAE

About the role

The Munitions Inspector will support U.S. Air Force munitions operations in Dubai, handling receipt, storage, inspection, testing, transport and maintenance of munitions, equipment and related resources. The role ensures strict compliance with the Performance Work Statement and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System while maintaining safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, inspect, test, transport and maintain USAF munitions and Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE).
• Operate Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS) and MC2 in accordance with site procedures.
• Enforce USAF and host‑nation explosives safety, AFOSH and security standards on all operations.
• Document serviceability and accountability actions promptly and accurately.
• Conduct warehouse inventories, resolve discrepancies and support custody accounts for deployed forces.
• Inspect, recondition, repair and replace defective parts of munitions and containers.
• Operate and maintain light vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, manual hoists and various electronic test and production equipment.
• Provide safety briefings for all explosives operations and respond to emergencies as required.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to pass pre‑medical screening and a 7‑panel drug test.
• Willingness to work onsite in Dubai with provided accommodation and vehicle.

Required skills

• Operation of TICMS and MC2 systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management requirements.
• Forklift, pallet jack and manual hoist operation.
• Electronic test equipment operation.
• Metal strapping equipment, stencil machine, heat sealer, pneumatic paint gun, air compressor and power tools operation.
