NDT Technician – PCN UT (3.1 & 3.2) & MT

About the role

SGS is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) on industrial projects. The role involves ensuring inspections meet client requirements and safety standards while delivering accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct UT and MT inspections in accordance with applicable codes and client specifications.
• Maintain safety compliance and follow company procedures during all inspection activities.
• Prepare, review and file detailed inspection reports and related documentation.
• Identify and report any defects or non‑conformities observed during testing.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to support ongoing inspection tasks.

Required profile

• Valid PCN UT (3.1 & 3.2) certification.
• Valid Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) certification.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑certification NDT inspection experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power or similar industrial sectors (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, safety standards and quality requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) techniques.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and produce accurate reports.
