Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining robust LAN, WAN and wireless infrastructures while ensuring high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure complete operational health of all network infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless networks and VPN services.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve wired and wireless network problems.
• Conduct regular network performance tests and manage QoS.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and network diagrams.
• Analyze core‑distribution‑access architecture to recommend improvements and increase resiliency.
• Implement and monitor network security in collaboration with the security team.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the network running smoothly.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and hardware adjustments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 6‑8 years of experience configuring and implementing multi‑vendor network hardware.
• Hands‑on experience with IPSec tunnels and SSL VPN.
• Experience designing wireless networks for performance and security.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
• Ability to produce detailed low‑level and high‑level network diagrams.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills.
• CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
