Network Security Engineer – Fortinet

About the role

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Fortinet solutions to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on deploying, configuring and supporting Fortinet security platforms in enterprise and mission‑critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain FortiGate, FortiMail, FortiSandbox, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer devices.
• Design and manage firewall policies, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), NAT, routing and BGP configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents, analyse logs and traffic flows.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers during implementation and support phases.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, configuration backups and handover reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise or managed security environments.
• Proven ability to work independently under operational pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with at least three Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiMail, FortiSandbox, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Solid knowledge of BGP, routing and switching concepts.
• Experience with IPsec, SSL VPNs, NAT and email protocols (SMTP, SMTPS).
