Nursery Teacher

About the role

Bloom Nurseries, in partnership with MindChamps, is seeking a qualified Nursery Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi centre. You will deliver the MindChamps curriculum, creating a safe and stimulating environment that supports each child’s development and prepares them to become future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the MindChamps programme in line with nursery policies and philosophy.
• Address each child’s educational and developmental needs and maintain accurate progress records.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment for children to work and play.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, children and other stakeholders.
• Prepare term progress reports and developmental portfolios for each child.
• Set class guidelines, discipline procedures and daily schedules with the team.
• Arrange classroom appearance, displays and learning resources.
• Attend teachers’ meetings and professional development sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to maximise benefits for children.
• Undertake additional ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood or Education, or a degree combined with a certified vocational certificate in care and education of young children.
• At least two years’ experience in an early years setting.
• Creative, inspiring and energetic approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Knowledge of educational development and cognitive psychology.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
