Operations Manager – Emirati Talent

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day E‑Commerce fulfilment activities for Majid Al Futtaim’s hypermarket network in the UAE. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end E‑Commerce fulfilment, coordinating with fulfilment centres, last‑mile teams and third‑party delivery partners.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as picking accuracy, handover times, delivery timelines, productivity and service levels.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the online shopping experience.
• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, hygiene standards and quality controls in fulfilment centres.
• Collaborate with Commercial, IT, E‑Merchandising, Stores and Customer Service to resolve operational challenges.
• Analyse customer experience metrics (e.g., NPS) and implement actions to improve satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and develop the operations team, ensuring attendance, performance and talent pipelines are maintained.
• Support budgeting, cost optimisation and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing e‑commerce or logistics operations.
• Strong people‑management skills, including coaching, performance management and talent development.
• Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and third‑party logistics providers.
• Knowledge of budget planning, cost control and financial reporting.
