Operations Specialist – Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Operations Specialist to manage procurement, supply chain and logistics activities from our Dubai office, supporting operations in Angola. The role involves coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end procurement of raw materials and operational supplies using SAP Business One, including sourcing, quotation, negotiation and purchase order issuance.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, lead times and order status to guarantee continuous supply.
• Manage inventory levels, trigger replenishment and support warehouse stock reconciliation.
• Handle import and export shipments by sea, air and land, preparing all required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance and customs paperwork).
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and inspection agencies to ensure smooth cargo movement and resolve any logistics issues.
• Plan and optimise transportation schedules, track shipments and address delays to meet delivery commitments.
• Process customer and supplier orders, verify shipment accuracy and generate operational reports on spend, inventory, supplier performance and logistics KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international procurement, logistics coordination and import/export operations.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with suppliers, customs authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and cost optimisation.

Required skills

• SAP Business One (ERP) proficiency.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Experience with freight forwarding and transportation management.
