Operations Trainee Program – Gas Turbine Cell

About the role

This one‑year Operations Trainee Program focuses on hands‑on work in the Gas Turbine (GT) cell at the Jebel Ali Service Centre. The trainee will support inspection and repair operations, gaining exposure to safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture (SQDCC) while learning Lean principles.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Kaizen events and contribute improvement ideas.
• Apply Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Daily Management Systems under guidance.
• Support daily operations to achieve SQDCC targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Materials teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Engage in structured problem‑solving and waste‑reduction activities.
• Assist in developing, documenting and sustaining Standard Operating Procedures.
• Promote a safe working environment and take part in EHS initiatives.
• Help evaluate and implement new technologies or tools that improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial or related engineering discipline.
• Foundational understanding of inspection, repair processes and quality systems.
• Strong interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
