Operator Trainer - Construction Equipment

About the role

United Diesel is looking for an Operator Trainer to deliver hands‑on operational training for construction equipment. You will work with customer operators and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and optimal use of machinery while reducing misuse‑related breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on operation, basic troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of construction machinery.
• Visit customer sites to assess operator practices and provide tailored instruction.
• Prepare training materials, user guides, and evaluation reports.
• Perform practical demonstrations for new machine handovers and customer trials.
• Support service and sales teams by providing technical feedback from the field.
• Identify operator misuse, abuse, or poor maintenance issues during service cases.
• Ensure alignment with safety and compliance standards during training programs.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and/or training on heavy construction machinery.
• UAE driving licence.
• Ability to communicate in English; other regional languages preferred.
• Basic computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Required skills

• Deep familiarity with construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, etc.
• Operation, troubleshooting and daily maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Preparation of training materials and user guides.
• Presentation and instructional delivery.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
