Painter – Maintenance & Guest Services

About the role

The Painter supports the hotel’s guest experience by responding to repair requests, performing surface preparation, painting, and a range of basic maintenance tasks. The role combines hands‑on craftsmanship with guest‑focused service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, and conduct basic plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains.
• Carry out basic electrical repairs, including lamp replacement and fixing switches/outlets.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas, following lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Assist with interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler maintenance.
• Update maintenance inventory, requisition parts, and log daily activities for shift hand‑over.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting; hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
